    just like it is at the moment with money issues.

    Would you cross the picket line today? If there was the same number of people out on strike just like 1984.

    Been crossing picket lines for past couple of months - Our journo's (NUJ) keep having 1 & 2 day strikes cos 15 jobs are under threat.

    If I failed to turn up to do my job, I'd be sacked.

    And NO - I ain't in any union.

    Extremely difficult to compare as the two era's are very different. Most noteably what unions there are left have **** all power.
