    I back Cryne 100%, why should we throw £8k a week to some, well, to me an arrogant little get who doesn't give a toss who he plays for aslong as he gets this money every week! i would much rather get a big and strong Centre Forward anyways and especially one who would actually WANT to play for the Reds, **** Mifsud! (wnkr)

    A player has his worth to us. If he is asking too much, then we have to say no. Simple as that. We move onto the next target. I bet he doesn't get as much as he wants in the summer.</p>

    Yesterday half the people on here were moaning about him not being good enough. Now we are tight because we won't pay him enough. Can't win.

    Lambert would be my choice. A gamble maybe but i think he would be worth it and he won't be a greedy little **** like Mifsud.

    I agree

    And not just in respect to him. Those who complain we should pay £8k a week for a striker, where do they think we should get the money from? As I see it there are 4 sources: -

    1) Money from fans, either through gate receipts or from merchandise, catering, programmes, car parking etc etc
    2) Money from TV and radio
    3) Prize money (like in last season's FA cup run)
    4) Money from a benefactor's (eg. Cryne's) back pocket

    If all that, added enough, is not enough, where is the rest going to come from? Most people on here complain about number 1 above being too much as it is.

    I read he's failed to agree terms with a few clubs. Too picky. He'd be arrogant and a pain in arse in my opinion.

    He is big but certainly isn't strong. If he is such a strong player then why does he end up on the floor after every attempt to win the ball in the box?
