Has no one on this site been listening to the news this week?

There's a national shortage of grit. What's more important, making sure a football match is on or ensuring safety on the road network in the local area?

Yes Jay i have been listening to the news

And there is grit in Barnsley its other areas where there is a shortage, and if you see some of the estates which ive seen these last few days its been thrown down by the bloody bag full as though they were trying to get rid of it.

I don't think a national shortage of grit comes into the equasion, besides that if you listen to local news, Barnsley does not have a grit shortage problem, in fact their stock levels are higher than the national average.
