    I think they should re-start AFC Barnsley or whatever it was called. Of course it would cease to exist when the real Barnsley got out of trouble but if they were the towns only club they would get a decent bit of support and sponsorship.

    I couldn't see m'self supporting anyone else, maybe I'd start watching Wombwell Main, they're the only other alternative I can think of.</p>

    We would all support the new B.F.C. under a new name, ie. B.F.C.2009 or summat. I may be wrong here, if so I,m sure someone will put me right, but B.F.C. dont.have any assets as such, only the players, if it went bust it would just cease to trade allowing a new club to be formed under a different guise. All the assets ( ground, land etc. ) are owned by the company owned jointly by PC. and the council. I,m sure I read that was why the land etc. was split off, to prevent all the sh*t that happened before happening again.
