you're assuming then that P.C. and the Council are not going to relinquish their ownership by selling.
So its nowt to do with PC, Shep owns the club. But a envisge a package that will see PC s share transfered along with the club but the council to hold their current position.
RE: So its nowt to do with PC, Shep owns the club. Nowt to do with PC? Shep owns the club? Since when? The council are trying to raise £85 million by sellng off assets...
RE: Shep owns the football club 100% I'm pretty sure Gordon holds the shares in trust for Patrick Cryne who actually owns the club.
Good point mate.... They would basically own the players and the staff. They would NOT own any land or the ground... When PC and BMBC took over they split the club in two... The football club (playing staff etc) and then the land/ground etc...
My guess is... Anyone who buys the "club" will have to rent the ground and car parks etc from PC and the Council.... Get ready if that happens... we won't need a season ticket, we'll be able to watch the game from out apartment block on Grove Street!!!
I think you will find that... as he is either owed by the club, or has guaranteed its debts, to the extent of £3m - Mr Cryne has a great deal of influence in the ownership of the club. Allegedly.
If that is so, I doubt if anything could happen without his say so, whether or not Mr Shepherd is the official owner.

There is only one share in Barnsley FC, the football club. That was transferred from P Riddy to Shep who is the current owner of the club as Leeds Tyke says..
Barnsley Barnsley Football Club 2002 Limited. Incorporated October 2002 with 1 share (Cobbetts (Nominees) Limited). Change of ownership reported June 2003.

RE: There is only one share in Barnsley FC, the football club. Who holds the share in trust on behalf of Patrick Cryne if you look at a more detailed report.
