We're f**ked.

Owen's a yard off the pace, Ashley Cole still hasn't fully recovered, there's a distinct lack of creativity in midfield with the one guy who could supply it stuck out wide on the left.

Teams defend en masse, and we look clueless.

    I agree entirely,

this lot dont have the pace to cause teams who defend this deep any trouble. Although from your post you seem to imply one trick/one pace pony Cole can unlock teams , I dont think he has looked up once tonight when he has had the ball.

Our best chance is to try and up the tempo , we dont have players good enough for a strolling game. All our players are better at running onto balls rather than back to goal.

He's played in the wrong position.

If we are to have a player in the Rooney role, he's the one who can do it.

Apparently, it's an excercise in being patient

Would that be the team or the fans?

    Joe Cole

Why does he dive so much? Every single time a defender goes near him! Every single time!

    I know..

but Gerrard doesn't do it all the time. Every time Joe Cole gets the ball, whichever part of the field he's in, he's just waiting to dive. Did the same against Belarus three times after he came on.

I'll try this again when it matters.

Bring Hargreaves on, and we spark into life. Inspired substitution. Sven's a genius.

    Chlesea disease.

Too much time hanging round with Drogba. Didn't used to do it at West Ham. That said, he didn't tackle or track back then either.

Not for a second saying that I don't rate him..

He's a great player. I just don't see why he feels the need to do that. Maybe it is too much time with Drogba & co.
