Thats for sure. I have tried to convince myself he needs time, he needs players, he needs the fans behind him, he needs all the Directors behind him, he needs some investment from the club. He's had all that and still the football deteriorates and we are plummeting like a stone.

The board have to think long and hard as to wether he can keep us up. My opinion is he can't.

Never heard such stupidness in my life!! Once again we lose so Davey must go. Get rid of him and fetch in another manager to completly overhaul the squad again. Christ sake. Lets have patience. Where were we this time last season??????? (blagger)

Davey has done a great job and if we can just get a few good away performances thrown in things would look much rosier!

i think it would be fair to say we have made steady improvement under Davey.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

'Steady improvement'. Best terminology yet. Totally agreed. We're still poor and have a long way to go before 'play offs' or even good mid-table, but we're no longer guaranteed relegation fodder. That, for me, will do for now. Just don;t expect me to hail everything he does as a 'success', that's all.

Perhaps its escaped the notice of some people that we were 5th and are now 17th in the table with massive investment and backing and the worst part the Football has been utter crap for the past 6 weeks and getting worse. Or perhaps I have been at different matches to some people on here. (doh) (doh)

    couldn't agree more.

i said at the start of this season if we finished 5th from bottom, I saw an improvement in the team and a vision of where we were going then I would be pleased, and I stick to that.

Maybe a couple of Derby wins too?

When we were chasing promotion from Lague one I didn't give a stuff if Donny beat us or not. All that mattered in league one was promotion.

With very little hope of a playoff finish in the championship, I think it's important to do something against the local teams. Survival, plus victories against the two Sheffield teams would be the ideal scenario....

Ironically, the Derby games seem to be the only thing Blunts & Wendys are "up" for. Laws & Robson don't seem to be able to get their teams going at all.

the league table is just a form guide

at that point of the season, time will tell, if we do amble along to a steady high bottom half finish 16th-13th ish then i will see that as a fantastic achievment by the club, steadily does it all the way for me. look at colchester one great season and now what, got to build slowly its the only things that is guranteed to work in football. one bad result and suddenly we need a new manager. some poeple need to get a grip.

We have a good start, lose some key loan players. our form drops Manager gets criticized for having loan players, we sign them back on permanant.
Then we lose one game and were going to get relegated. If we sacked the fans for silly comments we would have none left !
