........ giving the away team 4,000 tickets for (half of) the West Stand and selling the North Stand to reds fans?

The numbers would be about right, 15% of a 23,000 capacity, but does half of the West Stand hold that many? Even if it doesn't, maybe we can give them less and play the segregation card?

No doubt if we were to play Man Utd, Chelsea, Portsmouth or Sheff Utd.. but I'm not sure we would against the rest.

its unlickely they get west stand due to its positioning in relation to approach paths to oakwell its much easier for police to segragate the away fans if there in the north stand

Id like to see Reds fans in the North Stand, especially against Wendies. Its always going to be a financial gamble to change things though. Mind you, Chelsea or Man Utd at home would surely have em creeping out of the woodwork.

Can't see the club giving us the North Stand but think they should consider it, would give us a big advantage atmosphere wise, anyway, might not crop up if we get our usual crap away draw!
