As much as I'm loving how well we have been playing in 2013, and delighted with the results/points return under Flicker, we must be mindful that we have some really tough games to come, and safety is still the prime objective and we have achieved nothing more than temporarily escaping the bottom 3 so far. We still have to play (from the top 6) Cardiff (a), Palace (a), Hull (h), Leicester (h) and Watford (h) as well as really tough games v Burnley (a) and Brighton (h), not to mention relegation 6 pointers v the Pigs (a) and Hudders (a). I'll still take 4th off the bottom as a 'great escape' for this season, anything better than that will be a bonus in my book
If we beat Bristol tomorrow, we will be doomed. Flicker will get manager of the month and that will put the curse on us like it always has done in the past!
not sure the dreaded motm will affect us, flickers seemed to be preparing for the bubble to burst before the m'boro game, it will burst, but main thing is to get over it and start again and not be all doom n gloom, ie if brizzie beat us, it'd be a setback but 1 we can recover from pretty quick
It was a tongue in cheek comment, I have full faith in Flicker. In fact, I am more inclined towards the original posters comment about us being a good bet for the play-offs. This will mean he is destined for motm for March and April as well
140 on Betfair. Might be worth having a few quid on them. A few wins in our next few games and that price could turn into a nice little laying opportunity! Realistically anything that's 4th bottom or better would be magic
