    Then we could make the play offs. We are talking 12 points or 4 wins, meaning we need to pick up a good portion of away wins and win the home matches.

    Just need 2 good strikers and we could be thereabouts at the end of the season. (Y) (Y) (Y)

    I don\'t really think people are expecting us to get into the play offs, people just want a respectable league position Like 10-14th would be good enough for this season

    Get real. If we lose on Sat we are dropping towards the bottom 3 like the proverbial stone.
    To get anywhere near the play-offs we'd have to win at least 6 on the bounce. In other words it aint gonna happen.
    We are in another relegation battle - fact.
    That's not pessimism, its REALISM.

    statistically speaking..............

    playoffs are extremely unlikely</p>

    in a season like this where 2 or 3 are running away with it we would need at least 75 points for 6th place</p>

    43 pts from 19 games -ie 2.26 ppg-is better than Championship form and we have only been near that once this season-when we got 3 Wins and a draw in 4 games from Sheff W Bristol C Doncaster &amp; Charlton-2.5 ppg</p>

    I can see no reason to expect a sudden upsurge in form along the lines needed</p>

    realistically our first target is 50 points ASAP</p>
