I'm hoping we'll be averaging at least 14,000, mainly down to more away support? What do you think?

If we are near top after Christmas, surely we can get 5 figure crowds in again!

We did get 10,000+ for the forest game but that was due to them bringing 2,400.

I do believe that success on the park promotes better attendances and if we keep up the good work form the last couple of games then we can get into the promotion places at least. Hopefully this will inject some renewed enthusiasm within the people who have stayed away so far this season. I know of quite a few who haven't been to a game yet because they are so disillusioned, even though they followed home and away last season. After Tuesday's result they were talking about 'popping' back down and having a look.

    Let's hope so.

Cost of attending match by match is too much

that will affect attendences this season

Tarn fans as fickle as anyone else.

Happens at Oakwell and every other club. God forbid should this run continue and we're 'in the mix' come April next year, they'll be back in their droves. Expect 16/17K (possibly more!) for any promotion clincher/play-off game.

But that's not a bad thing, surely?

So ok, we'll have been to the games at the start of the season when it was all up in the air, and they're only coming when it starts looking promising, but either way we have our tickets and it just means more revenue for the club.

Need to be doing really well around christmas for the 'half season' ticket sales

We were doing well at Xmas when Gudjon was in charge and that didn't get people rushing to buy half season tickets, but to be entirely honest, we do have a better looking team then we did then, who can also work as a team.

Certainly isn't a bad thing!! Anyone who slates 'gloryhunters' is missing the point. What would they rather have - 5000 diehards in Oakwell with acres of empty red seats or a full house, half of whom are in 'cos the team are doing well?? There's only one sensible answer to that. If just one of the gloryhunters decides to stay on when things go pear-shaped, then it's job done.
