we might as well shut up shop and pack up. The guy has shown talent and integrity and bonded with the fans. If we let him walk we would lose players we could otherwise keep and the support would probably crumble again in short it would be a disaster and mean us starting again and looking at struggle after struggle. OK ultimately it might still all go tits up but at the moment we all believe and I see no reason we can't kick on and go from strength to strength
If we don't retain Flicker and his team I don't think I will have it in me to forgive the board. From the interview it seemed obvious he wants them to share his vision, his belief, his ambition and to be backed in moving this club forwards.
He might have been offered it, but if Rowing and Cryne do a Robins then he might walk. Quite possible, we need some enthusiasm from them both. Same with players, we could lose our best with crap contracts being offered. The big guys will poach them .
Now we have stayed up the board should let him have all the money we have made on stones and cup run. Surely we can back him for next season with £3m?
