I feel he cost way too much in fee and wages for the amount of times he played. A transfer flop.

Maybe he wasn't given a chance because of things that happened behind closed doors. I mean if we got it wrong and didn't give him a chance that he deserved, why was he crap at every other club he was at after us? Surely if he was that good he would have made it elsewhere.

Hristov didn't score 21 goals for us

Think it's mixed up. He probably scored 21 for Partizan, and the line below 8 in 45 sounds more likely.

In my opinion he was never given the chance to shine. I know him and I know that things were not right toward the end of his contract. My take on it was that
Bassett took a view that if he wasn't playing him there would be little interest in him and he would renew his contract for less money. When his contract ended
the dutch club rang him and asked him to sign, the same dutch club who had initially tried to sign him when we did....they kept an eye on him all the time he was with us.
He had no renewal offer from us so agreed to join them. Just after that Fulham rang him but he said he had verbally agreed with the dutch club.

He had a great time in Holland, was a massive hit over there and loved it....

As for the header in the play off..........he told me he did not sleep properly for a month after that, it was running over and over in his mind, could not believe Wright saved it.

They're the exact same stats as wikipedia

It's just the lines are a bit muddled.
