.......................and it is right that he should be !!! All this rubbish from certain individuals about Danny Wilson being sacked..........doesn't these people realise that he is trying to build a new team from scratch. These recent poor results are just a setback in the process of team building. I still think its interesting even when we lose because I know at some point things are going to change now...........this wasn't the case when we were in the Championship last time. In those seasons (8?) we couldn't compete because there was little in the way of funding going into the club compared to other teams in there. And this is probably why the fans are despondent now..........they are wondering when the slide will stop. This season its different. Give Wilson time and he will get it right.
You are crazy if you think.... 1) We are still fighting a relegation battle into the new year he will still be here. 2) If somehow he sees out the season and we end up relegated he'd not be sacked after back to back relegations. We can't afford to risk being the latest former premiership club to end up in the 4th tier like Swindon in the past and Pompey currently. Lets hope it doesn't come to that.
I'm all for giving time to managers but if we are relegated this season he would have to go for me. It would be quite obviously not working out so no point in prolonging the agony. I don't think we'll go down though in which case it's another shot at L1 for DW.
We won't get relegated but if we did there is no doubt at all in my mind that Danny would either be sacked or would have been sacked before relegation was confirmed.
Unless we have an epic change of form we WILL get relegated We are playing the worst football and the lowest we have been for 38 years
