there are people starving in the Sudan and people dieing in Palestine. We have no right to compete in this division with the crowds we get and the wages we pay and are punching above our weight. We have average players that play well now and again and we can only hope they can play well enough times to keep us up. We need what, 18 points. That's 6 wins
we have no right to compete in this division,, with the crowds we get" with respect that's utter tosh. There are 5-6 sides with average crowds lower than ours( Burnley included). We are not punching above our weight. This club is geared up to play at this level. You don't have to break the bank to have a mid-table championship side. Thats what most of all concerned with BFC are asking/wanting. What you need is someone at the helm to provide leadership particularly when time are tough. Davy, I'm afraid talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk.
Yeah, but... The majority of teams in this division have budgets that in NO WAY reflect the numbers they get through the turnstiles. OK, they are teams with slightly higher attendance figures than Barnsley has, but how does this give them the ability to spend millions on players and salaries? The majority of these teams are bankrolled by premiership parachute payments or rich benefactors.
you use the term "once again". Where did you last use it because your answer implies you've previously said it.
I mean... <strike>that when I posted the above, my tongue was firmly in my cheek.</strike></p> </p> In fact, **** it. </p>
