This group of players isnt a bad one. There is a lot of talent and we have some very good players. Just look at the forward line. Hume gray macken bogdanovic as a first 4 is good.
The defence is still *****, hence the fact we've only kept one clean sheet all season. At the mighty... Lincoln.
There's some very talented lads though. Its confidence what we need and a regular team what his winning his the only way to improve this.
Why talk about losing on Saturday? What about what if we win on Saturday? I expect there to be a new defender in the back four by then and Robins to shake them up a bit. Foster and Hassell haven't become sh*t overnight.
RE: Why? Because you seem willing to pick up on any negative at the minute. Trying to start a pro-Davey - pro-Robins debate. Can you just not get behind him? Early days yes, but last night the heads didn't drop after there first went in, which is what we usually see. And to answer your question, yes the defence is w.nk. Still need a couple defenders in.
RE: Why talk about losing on Saturday? That's Dyson's thing - he tries to be a bit subversive. He's seen someone else doing it on here and decided to do it himself
No I'm not. How can I pick up a negative when there wasn't one from last night? Have a look at my post last night. You know, where I said I was impressed with the line up and predicted a 3-1 win after we went one nil down. Reight negative **** me.
Blimey! The jury should remain quiet on Robins til at least March. It's pessamism central on here at times. He has a mammoth task ahead of him but Im confident the performances will improve under his regime and it will be better viewing than the past 3 years. This will eventually lead to improved results so.... Get behind em! Let all the players start with a clean slate (even KO) and will the lads on to 3 points on Saturday. The Swans aren't pulling up many trees under Sousa and 3 points would see us leap up the table! C'MON!
RE: No I'm not. cos your not praising the players for last night, you just standing on the sides awaiting to see if they **** up on saturday, a REAL fan and optimist would be saying 'a good performance, lets push on from here' instead you come out with a negative comment of if they are rubbish on saturday. we need to get behind them to help them do well, not to be waiting for a trip up!!!
Rome wasn't built in a day. Hopefully Robins will be able to impose himself on this group and get them playing winning football in a way he wants. We can't afford a mass clearout like last time when the Davey couldn't handle the squad he inherited and had to have a complete cull.
