Will Wilson be sacked or extremely close to being sacked? Honest question. We're playing utter sh!te and had a dip in form. But, the question is, will he get sacked if we lose? BTW, this isn't me wanting him sacked, i want him to stay and get us playing well and hopefully be in a good position at the end of the season.
Boards normally react to fan pressure, those wanting Wilson out are still a small minority. Personally I'm on the fence, if we get anywhere near a relegation battle then it has to be a consideration Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No. Any business that attempts to implement a long term strategy them changes course within 4 months is ridiculous. You don't see it happening in other businesses so why should it happen here.
I agree. If we are so near to the drop come January I think our board will want to give someone the January transfer window to try and change around our fortunes after a very poor 2014. Our board are too ambitious to simply write off this season as over and just carry on as normal and hope for the best next season when season ticket sales will decrease.
No And neither should he on the current form or a one match scenario. We need to look at the bigger picture(cliche time) as Newcastle have done.
Definitely not. He was the best thing since sliced bread when we had just won our 3rd match on the trot at home v Colchester ...... 21 days ago, yes that's all it was ...... 3 games later and 1 point later and he's a w*nker in some peoples eyes. Football is a joke on this front at the moment - we desperategly need stability, not another sacking and another new manager Oh, and we also desperately need a fecking midfielder who can put a tackle in
Wouldnt surprise me if he's sacked depending on the manner of the defeat, if the players he's brought in show lack of effort and heart and desire, if heads drop and the atmos turns toxic, that generally = a call from Patrick to Ben to Danny. The managerial appointment is THE most important thing in achieving success. A manager has to have at least a 50% success ratio with his signings, from what I can see Wilsons signed far too many duds.
Another woeful display culminating in defeat will certainly not do Wilson any favours but lets see where we are on 01/01/15. At the moment defeats to Walsall, Preston, Orient and Oldham would leave us languishing in the Relegation zone. That of course is looking at the pessimistic side of the equation. I expect us to gain a point at Walsall, Beat Orient and anything against Preston and Oldham would be most welcome. That is the Optimistic side of things from my Opinion. There have been some encouraging displays this season but they have been in the minority. The Majority have been Abysmal which is extremely frustrating. A defeat on Sunday and slipping into the relegation zone by next year will almost certainly mean Wilson's Tenure will come to an end. I personally think we will pick up some positive results starting on Sunday and finish the year around Mid Table which would be fine by me.
I would hope that no one associated with the club is that ******* stupid to be thinking in those terms. We're in a rut at tye moment but we'll come out of it. The stupidity of sacking managers at the first sign of trouble is hopefully well behind us. We need a long term plan and to have the nuts to stick with it. Those baying for Wilson's blood are proper mongs, in my opinion.
There's a few on here. And they'll want the blood of the next man too as soon as we lose games. Patience and the stomach for a long term rebuild is missing from so many. Sadly. Just hope the Cryne family can see the progress I can.
That's modern day football for you sadly. Money and instant glory or out you go, seems to be worse the higher up you move.
I want us to beat you on Sunday, obviously I do. But part of me would enjoy Chester taking a deserved victory, just for the moronic meltdown on here. We drew against Doncaster on Tuesday. Had you not known that and logged on here at 10pm you'd have assumed Doncaster had beaten us 6-0 and that Hourihane (our best player by a margin this season) had pulled down his shorts and mooned the supporters at full time.
Will meet you half way and take a draw then Replay would be on the tele, cash would be great because as a fan owned and ran club we have no sugar daddy to help us out!
