    Did you expect much more?

Considering the teams we've played in the last 4 games? Maybe 3 against Forest but I didn't expect anymore than that!

I expected six points in December

two wins next Saturday and Preston. Any more such as Swansea is a bonus in my eyes.

    Pretty much fair...

We'll see whether it turns out that way, though!

RE: Did you expect much more?

Like I said, the only place I expected anything from was Forest. If you expected something against Swansea or today, then you need to have a look at how they're performing and the other teams they're beating. It's not an excuse it's a fact. If we get anything today, it'll end up being a massive result for us.

Luckily in the past few games the teams below us haven't been doing too well either.

I hope the manager and players don't go into these games with that attitude

    I was thinking that...

But you've got to accept that we won't win every game, and there's games, such as Swansea & Wolves away, where, realistically, we're not going to get anything.

was'nt having a go at you mate and no I did'nt expect anything today or Swansea ( I did at Forest though)my point was a lot of people just seem happy to make excuses week in week out the fact is that we do have an appalling record stretching back waaaaaaaaaaaay longer than I care to think and it doesnt show any signs of improving on any level of conistency just the odd isolated surprise/

    They're difficult games

But you've got to go into them thinking you have a chance.

    Can't argue with that...

And I've left a lot of away grounds with the feeling that we should have got something if we could just kill off a game, instead of sitting back. Credit to Davey, he sticks with (mostly) the same tactics for home and away matches. Them tactics being get a goal and let them come at us for the rest of the game. That's not football. Did you watch the Man U V Sunderland game the other week? They played the whole game like we usually play after a goal.

I can never see the point in changing tactics just because you've scored. Might as well try to push on from where you are.

    As players yes...

But as fans, you'd just get angry every week if you didn't look at things realistically.

I agree we are better just playing our own game I just can't believe that its not dawned on Davey that dropping back seldom if never works, obviously he did'nt have that decision to make today although Im guessing we were playing defensiveley to start with

And those 20 defeats haven't all been against the likes of Wolves, Brum, Reading etc.

Lost 20 out of 29, how can that be true? We've won 7 and drawn 4 out of 22 so far this season. So basically that stat is a crock of ****.

We have beat Liverpool and Chelsea in 2008. Nobody in the championship are unbeatable.

Yes but did you go into either of those games expecting a win? All I'm saying is to expect us to beat teams like these is unrealistic. Results like Liverpool & Chelsea don't happen every week.
