    If we lose tonight and the ownership group make a statement in the morning saying.

    "We hold our hands up! We have made some really bad mistakes this season, from pre season , to poor recruitment , to poor choice of head coach , to the west stand debacle, but very importantly treating our fans with disrespect "
    "We are very sorry and we want to try and put it right. With this in mind, we have now listened to the fans and seen the results for ourselves and sacked our head coach with immediate effect, and will be appointing Neil Warnock till the end of the season to try and keep our club in the Championship.
    Yes we may have left it a little late , but we now need all our fans to get right behind the team and give them your full support ."
    "If we are not successful in retaining our championship status , make no mistake we have learned from our mistakes and we will do our best to put things right next season ."

    How would the fans react to this? would any faith be put back in the club and owners?
    I know its not gunna happen , but just clutching at straws

    Add that they intend to pay back the £750k and I think that might sway it. Saying it and actually doing it are very different things though….

    To be honest if we had the rub of the green we would have scored a goal in both of our last two games , they were both ruled out unfairly
