I know many on here will not agree

however, I think we played ok today, 2 goals from long kicks and we had a few shots on target just unluckily straight at the keeper. Our heads went down after 3-0 but before we were well in the game and had some dominant spells, only Anderson had a poor game and him giving the ball away lead to a goal but we all know that is not like him. Leon played well, JCR was good, Devaney got into the game as it went on, Odejayi and Hume both played well and Hassell played really well I thought.

Foster certainly should have dealt with the 3rd and JCR with his, but we all also know they are good players and could normally be expected to clear a routine goal kick, and what could Davey have done about either of those; especially considering everyone thought, and I still do, that Foster should replace Moore at centre half.

Tha clutching at straws lad...two efforts on target both from the woeful Rigters. Leon completely ineffectual as per usual. Can't move the ball fast enough to create anything. It comes to summat when Odejayi comes on and looks the best player.

No need to worry alright, we'll be in League 1 if we play like that.

you're right that is our problem

where the goals are coming from - but we are not playing badly there were a lot of positives today especially as Palace is not an easy place to go. Certainly sacking Davey will achieve nothing as fundamentally we are playing decently and have played ok most home matches this year.

The only thing right about that post was that Anderson was absolute garbage.

    I agree

We won't have to worry, because there won't be a relegation battle, just relegation without a battle.

    Not as nerve racking.

if you're determined to sack him at least wait until January

with the players we have I can't see a great improvement anyway from a new manager

ok Davey brought these guys in but it's too late now it's happened

surely there's the equal chance that rocking th boat so to speak will just disrupt performances further, and even once the dust has settled what could be done different with our current squad

therefore wait until just before the transfer window, give him as much chance as possible to turn it round before letting a new guy bring in a few, as their will be turmoil anyway. Stability is required for that hectic xmas period

Mate, you must have watched a different game to me, i don't think we ever strung 4 passes together, we were clueless going forward, lightweight in midfield and inept in defence, so on the contrary i think we do need to worry and things need sorting out at the club, if that's the best we can expect then the managerial team needs to change. When was the last time you heard or felt like "it's just like watching Brazil".

    I'm winding you up

Look at the end of the day, I want Barnsley to win games.

I'd love nothing more than Davey to win every game for the rest of the season, lead us to Champions League glory in 2010 and be knighted.

However, I'm afraid I can't see how he's taking us forward.

Agreed - up to a point

We really are lacking in the goalscoring department, we never really looked dangerous and the final ball always went astray

I agree, thought we played some good football.3 individual errors cost us today

Never a 3nil game, my two mates watched it and agreed they thought we played well, couple of bad mistakes

You can't tell me there was much between two teams in terms of football?
