For the first time in a long time I have faith in our recruitment process. I believe we will sign replacements who may take time to hit their stride but will in time create special memories of their own.

People like to whinge but we could look to invest some of the transfer income on Mallian, Watkins, Dack, Isgrove Pierre and still have plenty to invest in the future of the club and to reward some of those who have improved with us.

That's a massive improvement over our last stint I'm the championship and should be applauded not criticised.

Let's remember bleaker days and enjoy our new beginnings.

    Onwards and upwards

Bang on. I'm happy that (a) we have a clear strategy and (b) the strategy is working. Maximising the return on players is part of that strategy, if players won't sign extensions the return on those players is reduced, this can't be blamed on the club. Getting value on our replacements will be critical. I'm confident they'll get it right.

If we bring in the players you mentioned, plus two strikers and the lad who scored for Blackpool last week then we'll have improved, unfortunately I can't see us getting more than two permanent signings this month if that.
