....Davey should be on the blower at 8 o'clock the next morning making mates with Mr Blackwell.

And then asking for Howard back.

    Judas?

    F.ck me.

He left us for team with more chance of promotion and probably more money. Fair enough.

Yes, it probably could've been handled a bit better by all parties but he's better than each of the midfielders we've got at the minute and hasn't been replaced.

I'd piggy back him to Oakwell if we could sign him.

That he wanted to move for promotion chance?

That's nothing to do with the attitude he had towards the end of his time here. His attitude was that he was bigger than the club. It's one thing wanting to move on, it's another thinking you're bigger than the club. You could tell with his attitude that he thought he was bigger than us. And he fully deserved the "Brian Howard is a ******" chants he got when he was sat in the corner stand. And will do so for a long time.

And it's not just Saturday's he's out is it really?

    Yours
    Brian Howards Best Mate.

I always thought Howard was a luxury that we carried for too many games. Had to play him week in week out otherwise he would get the lip on, but accomodating him restricted us tactically. Having said that, he would now add a better balance to the team than playing THREE defensive midfielders in the middle of the park (Colace, Anderson and Andranik). It was lucky if Howard was protected by one decent defensive midfielder (Anderson before injury).

    Or even better

Patrick Cryne should be on the phone telling Davey to get lost, and then subsequently on the phone to a real football manager offering him a job, AND THEN after that we should go and get Howard to come back.

Next season - with the line up we have, plus Howard back, with a decent manager in charge. Lovely. Mid-table.

I bet that a change of manager alone could get more out of our forward line without even spending another penny in that department.

When did he tell you that?

Cos its not what he told me .

But then again if I actually go and talk to him and get his actual views, then it means I have only heard one true version and that cant be relied on , (apparently). But if you dont talk to either party and just believe what you read on the web, then you can say owt you want about him, that he does not want to play for us, that he is always out getting pissed, etc. etc. etc.

Thats how it works with some on here anyway.
