to make oakwell a fortress so that teams and crowd's are almost scared to come to oakwell.

advertising and the market department should do a bit more to get people through the gates

but at the same time players need to do there bit but if you look at the atmosphere yesterday

half way through the second half a red army formed wolves fans didn't know what to do they tried to react

but they couldn't and as a result we were louder and we scored, under a new manger we can be a successful side,

we have the players, ground and support but PC is stopping that by letting the clown be our manager.

roll on our next season, will we be in the championship or league one who knows?

As much as I agree with your first comment - it aint gunner work

'to make oakwell a fortress so that teams and crowd's are almost scared to come to oakwell'

I'd really really love that to be the case
But after seeing the limp wristed comments on here today regarding Brian Howard and Sheffield United I honestly think Barnsley FC is turning into a ballet school

I thought football was about PASSION for your team, your tribe, your manor........
Apparently its not that now............what its turned into is having a quiet drink and a chat with your opponents

Obviously I'm either watching the wrong team or the wrong sport
But theres always the point of view to fall back on, the view that I've always had about this message board - THIS MESSAGE BOARD DOES NOT REPRESENT THE FEELINGS OF TRUE BARNSLEY FANS

So because we don't share your feelings or opinions towards opposition, or anything like that what you dont approve of, were not true barnsley fans?

    Disagree by all means ...............but

...........we are talking football........and our own team.......but the comments that come through this message board are lame........they are very very PC (and I'm not talking about Pat Cryne here)

Its as tho the souls of the people posting on here have been removed.........theres no passion or aggresion or anything.........its probably a generation thing
Older guys like mrx for example, although you may not agree with what he says, he does show a bit of aggression

Its the younger supporters that have computers so its bound to be them that make up the majority of people posting on here

And most kids today have no spark, no get up and go........no aggression
It seems that politics and the PC brigade has diluted the spirit and testosterone of Barnsleys younger generation (genrally speaking)
