Seriously. If we survive this season in the Championship - I will honestly not know how we've made it. It's like walking away from a burning building intact. At times it has been like watching a train crash. At other times it has been more slow and painful. At all times I have been left thinking 'this side should be midtable'. At no time have I ever been convinced that Davey actually knows what he is doing or getting the side to do. I have never been more sure of the fact that if we do survive (if indeed we do) we will get relegated next year. Perhaps before the final day. Davey has to go.
I personally am more bemused how on earth we are not safe at this point because we've thrown far more points away than we have miraculously gained.
RE: I personally am more bemused how on earth we are not safe at this point So am I. Along with the fact that if we draw on Saturday we'll have managed to survive despite failing to win any of the final NINE games of the season, which is absolutely ridiculous.
RE: I personally am more bemused how on earth we are not safe at this point Agreed. after watching the debacle at Coventry where there were 3 points for the taking - we should be home and fooking hosed. Still, there's plenty of games this season we should have won. The only game I witnessed where we were convincingly outplayed was West Ham.
disagree about West Ham Thought we absolutely battered them for the first half, and quite a lot of the second as well. Haven't seen that many games this season for obvious reasons, but the only one I've seen where I thought we were completely outplayed was Palace away.
RE: pretty much agree BRF It's been an awful season and kicking off next season with him in charge would spell disaster. Both in terms of what we do on the field and in terms of season ticket sales.
