What would people think about him managing us for the remainder of the season?

Heard stories from inside Leeds that he rarely trained the players and generally other things that painted him in a bad light but I think he would be likely to keep us up.

Terrible long ball no development of youth players.

Not for me thanks, it would be a short term and potentially backwards step IMO.

He didn't really pull any trees up at Leeds did he. And is he any good without dosh to spend. I hope he gets the Pigs job - it'll be great to see when they realise his flush is busted.

Have to admit he'd be my number one choice at this moment in time (of those who I'd consider in reach anyway)

To be honest any manager would have struggled under Ken Bates, as many proved. Best players sold.

Don't agree he wouldn't develop youth players - did a great job at palace with them.

Not sure he'd take the job anyway.

I'd definitely be in favour of him, or one of the ex Man U names mentioned over other candidates.
