They would be no where near an England squad

Agree with Barry, I think Cleverley shows promise. At the end of the day when you look at some that wear the shirt these days it's worrying how little talent we have

But surely they have to be at a certain level to play for Man Utd. Though I really don't see what Cleverley brings

Young, Smalling, Welbeck, Ferdinand, Anderson are all poo in my opinion. Shows how the standards of football have dropped in thePremiership as they're topping the table and came second last year. Must be the winning mentality that's keeping them up there!

Cleverley's the best of the three but still nowhere near the player Wilshere is.

They've played smart in that first half. Thought England looked great.

I prefer to go on my own opinion rather than what others think. Just because someone else thinks a player is good that won't influence my opinion. Fergie obviously rates him but that doesn't mean I have to.

Those three are the reason why Man U are falling behind the top European teams, they're alright in the Premiership against Wigan, Stoke etc.. ***** in the last 16 of the Champions League.

They'd probably be the best players at the club they were at and still get in the England squad all three played well in my opinion.

That's no achievement, England are ****. Man Utd haven't had a big game since he's been starting.

I'd be surprised to see both Welbeck and Smalling start against Madrid

What a scary thought. When you look at the teams United turned out in the late 90's and the last decade in Europe things look a lot different now. Well played Glazers

Well if Sir Alex said that I'd better change my opinion. Its all down to politics Lip. Sir Alex sold his soul to the Glazers for 30 pieces of silver or the IPO scheme which ever you prefer.

He's not going to slag off the mediocre players he's got because the Glazers won't fund him to compete financially with City and Chelsea to name a couple.

If you'd have seen United in Europe in the late 90's and compare them to the current team there's a massive difference.

Yes they're still competing well but I think that says a lot about the rest of the Premiership.
