Do we have cameron mcgheehan back? Aswell as george miller and victor. Mcgheehan is miles ahead of ritzmaier.
The way he embraced his time at Portsmouth makes me wonder. He could have played at Wembley at least once with them as well. Not sure where he fits in with Strubers team.
No I think struber has his favourites and even if he was here would prefer other players over cameron but imo he would get in our team. Just be interesting to see the longer we wait to go back pompey wont have him as his contract will have ended and he will be back with us same as miller victor. When you think about it could change alot of teams in regards loan players etc we would only have the keeper and the young rb who would go back
I reckon theres going to be big changes with regards players chasing better contracts. Will players look to stay with a club they know as a stable financial history, or move to a club like SWFC who as an history of financial problems. We could end up keeping more of our promising young footballers.
And that's why it's impossible to restart the season. Not a single team is likely to have the same playing staff, so at best you'll have a brand new mini-season to tack onto the rump of what was 2019-20.
Was reading a n article on La Liga and that spoke volumes, both sides of the situation, basically President threatening points deduction if they don't play and player with pregnant wife saying even if there was minimal risk he wasn't playing because if it did go wrong he couldn't live with himself
I can’t see for a minute how we expect football to resume though in fairness our defence practiced the 2m social distancing for the entire season to date.
I'd like to think that could happen but tbh transfers are driven by agents...as long as they get their cut they don't give a toss.
If and when players' contracts are up there will be so many of the little darlings floating around with nowhere to go, assuming that the season stats again after their contracts expire. I wonder which club will take the plunge to sign players if the season doesn't start.
I think in League 1 unless you have Top Cat n' Yogi Bear in charge you stand a good chance of automatic promotion. Apologies to Simon Grayson and Phil Parkinson in advance.
Not as much money in league one so more teams have a chance. Not to be underestimated though took sheffield united 6 seasons with a massive budget and with experienced managers like danny wilson, nigel clough and nigel adkins. Sunderland arent smashing the league like people expected.
If I remember right it took leeds, forest and wednesday more than one season to get back wolves and Southampton bounced straight back. League one is more of a even playing field I'll give you that.
