And nobody at his press conference refers to him as Agent Wilson and congratulates him on returning to base after his successful '**** Up The Deedars' mission then I don't see the point. Btw, as of yesterday, he hasn't been contacted by BFC but he would take the job gladly should they do so. From the best source possible.
Whitey, sat on the sofa last night and reading the threads on Wilson and the odds reducing, I was beginning to believe BFC were making some progress on the manager front. You have now pi55ed on my chips mate. Is it 100% factual that Wilson hasn't been contacted by BFC?
Maybe they are and maybe its not Wilson. That will be an interesting day on this forum when someone other than Danny Wilson is appointed as manager.
Re: You know Danny Wilson, too? I wouldn't listen to what Whitey or anyone else on here says because it's all going to be 'he said she said'. Whitey knows **** all just like the rest of us, keep calm ffs.
Nah! Not going to get stressed over the managerial situation until we appoint a permanent one. Even then, they may set on someone I like.
Re: You know Danny Wilson, too? I was drinking tea with Shay Given on Saturday. Funny bloke. But I don't claim to know him.
Sophistry You're regularly in the company of well known people. Me? I know no one either locally or nationally well known.
Re: Am I the only one I'm not in any circle. Not even the one that Elton John sings about. And I'm not 'in the know' about who the manager will be, or who the club are wanting to appoint. But I know what I posted earlier. And thought that having just finished work that I'd share it on here. Personally, I'm hoping we making a decision asap, to give the bloke - whoever it is - time to assess the current squad and also utilize the transfer window. And a decent result on Saturday and I expect Micky Mellon appointed until the end of the season, because objectively, four points from games against Brighton, Burnley and Yeovil was a point more than I expected. Of course, there's a lot more to being a manager than purely results, but I'm sure had we beaten Yeovil and drawn against Brighton the thoughts of many would be somewhat different. If he drops Kennedy and Ramage this weekend, and we get a point or three, I'd be very impressed.
I'm not saying you're wrong, Andy But to quote you, "Btw, as of yesterday, he hasn't been contacted by BFC but he would take the job gladly should they do so. From the best source possible.". That can only be from Danny himself, as he's the best source possible.
