he's aware of his weakness BARNSLEY striker Tommy Wright has backed the Reds change of approach and is looking forward to a tough battle against Leeds United tomorrow afternoon.
Speaking in Saturday's Oakwell Review, Tommy said: "It "It is now time to get rid of the pretty stuff and just start winning football matches. I think our supporters will appreciate a winning team more even if that means going a bit more direct and being a little more physical in attack. We have played some great, attacking football this season but the lads are absolutely gutted that we have not picked up the wins we deserved.
"We now have a tough local derby with Leeds United and one that we have to win. It will be a hard physical game and I am sure that there will be some tackles flying in. It is important to keep our heads and not go overboard with the physical stuff. These games can get heated but we have to keep eleven men on the field.
"I am just happy to have my chance in the starting eleven and I have waited a long time for this opportunity. It is now up to me to make sure I stay in the team".

Whereas, if Nads starts... How long before his first gimme miss - if people have the courtesy to acknowldge it rather than cry "Ooh, unlucky Dan! Natural predator, you know? Did well to get into that position" - is blamed on a divot/bad pass/linesman/lack of match practice 'cos Andy Ritchie hasn't got a clue what a good striker looks like unless it's lying on the floor in a collapsed heap after a collision with an idea.
Nards.... Couldn't lace Ritchies booits.
Probably even now.
Why not have a a BFC Employee postition swap. Nads in as manager and Ritchie upfront. Commentary done by the bloke off of Big Brother.

did you go to Pride Park on Wednesday? because i did and while I'm the first to admit I'm not his biggest fan T Wright had his best game for us this season-not hard to do you might say-but nevertheless he did show some ability and was unlucky-that word again-not to score thanks to a very good tip round the post from their goalie.
one concern I have is that Ritchie said post match that Wright was exhausted after 70 minutes-really? I know he got clattered a few times but he doesn't sprint everywhere and should be fit enough to last 120 minutes never mind 90
my guess is he will start tomorrow-with the mighty Marc (even I couldn't miss from 3 yards could I?) Richards
