    OMEN. I carried out some experiments in the bath....

    1
    clockwise.
    rotating my hand anti-clockwise in the vortex can temporarily reverse the vortex, but the vortex always re-asserts itself to clockwise.

    right someone is going to ave it on Monday! :) the gits

    told me the water vortex in australia goes anti clockwise!

    I thought there might be some substance to the story as tornados twist clockwise in the northern hemisphere and anticlockwise in the southern hemisphere! Unless ive been had again! lol

    That is clockwise...

    That is clockwise looking down... not laying on the bottom of the bath looking up...

    I was always of the belief that the plug-hole vortex was different in the two hemispheres.

    We must do the experiment again and report back... say within the week.

    But which way do you spin in a nightclub

    when "You spin me right round like a record baby, right round" by Dead or Alive comes on?

    I normally go anti-clockwise in Blighty, although when I was in Perth, I tended to go clockwise.

    Well a good question that

    I always feel more comfortable spinning anti-clockwise on the dancefloor when the record demands it. It just feels more natural.

    But .. my dad is proper left handed and I am right handed but left-footed. I even open jars and bottles with my left hand, so I reckon my natural left-handed-ness was probably scuppered by school teachers at an early age.

    I am a very neat writer with my right hand but crap with my left.

    Wanking is a another story in itself... and now I've even bored mesen ... sorry.

    proper pmsl - btw im 2 footed at footy, right handed and wear my watch on my right wrist!

    you normally wear ya watch on opposite wrist to writing hand! but id still spin CCW even if i had mi watch on!
