I've been checking out holidays on Expedia for the past 2 weeks and as some of you may know the prices change hourly. Anyway, the price has been slowly dropping over the past week and today the price for the holiday I've looking at has dropped from £1012 to £811 per person. I'm not a betting person, do I book it now or wait and see if it drops further over the next few days? I know there might be sales in January but it also might only be cheap until after Christmas. Choices, choices.
Re: If you can afford to, now is the time to start thinking about booking your holida Being in the teaching profession, as you know JD, you never get a cheap holiday. Maybe we should lobby the education minister about discounts for teachers
Re: If you can afford to, now is the time to start thinking about booking your holida It's not so much the price that bothers me, it's the fact that everywhere is always full of kids
Re: If you can afford to, now is the time to start thinking about booking your holida Hi JD, I suppose £811 is relative. Where are you looking to go and for how long?
Re: If you can afford to, now is the time to start thinking about booking your holida Well, I know I'm daft (Will certainly thinks so) but I want to go back to Florida. I know we really, really should wait but we did it all wrong last time, trying to cram everything in and we were knackered every day and never spent any time not in the parks so I want to go and actually enjoy Florida this time rather than just Disney. It'd be either May school hols or late August for 10 nights in a suite in a fancy hotel. Btw it's addictive refreshing the screen! It's £803 now.
Re: If you can afford to, now is the time to start thinking about booking your holida I always leave it until the last minute and while it’s not guaranteed to save you money, I find it usually does, however it has backfired on me and I have spent time in the doghouse as a direct result of using this tactic. I'm certainly no expert but circa £800 per person to Florida sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Sorry but I’m not being very helpful am I. By the way an addiction to Barnsley FC, the BBS and holiday booking websites is not a good place to be but don't worry there is help available.
Aparently they're at their cheapest between boxing day and the new year. Me and my girlfriend looking at booking Florida for next October time
Re: If you can afford to, now is the time to start thinking about booking your holida Little tip for you. Before booking a holiday online you should clear your cookies or use the incognito/in private mode to visit the site as online travel agents track your visits to their site and change their prices accordingly. They know you want a particular week/destination and bump their prices because they know you'll pay it.
Re: If you can afford to, now is the time to start thinking about booking your holida Book Florida when the USA kids are at school and the parks will be a lot quieter to get around
If you can afford to, now is the time to start thinking about booking your holi The advice I have, is when you do book, don't look at the price afterwards. You don't want to know.
If you can afford to, now is the time to start thinking about booking your ho... They'd have to pay me to go to Florida and the city of Worms
Re: If you can afford to, now is the time to start thinking about booking your ho... What's up with it ?, I found the place really good . We all have our reasons I suppose .
Re: If you can afford to, now is the time to start thinking about booking your holida Thanks, I knew that trick (think I posted it on here last year?) Will's job involves making travel websites. They're crafty buggers aren't they?
Re: If you can afford to, now is the time to start thinking about booking your holida So its his fault then. The ****!
