    and would you get fed up of it?

    A lad I work with as Chicken and Rice for both his lunch at work and for his dinner when he gets home washed down with about 6 litres of water a day.

    He's a fit lad who goes to the gym every night after work, can't fault his dedication but I do question his diet and tell him that no matter how much he watches what he eats he's still going to die 1 day.

    His reply is that he likes chicken and rice, I just think he's as thick as a clog that's been brainwashed by some gym monster

    I like a full English breakfast but twice a day? Come on

    All those carbs can't be that good for him if he's trying to gain muscle, need some veg in there


    I reckon I could have giant yorkshire pudding with mash, chicken, sausage, veg and gravy for the rest of my life no problem

    No veg at all, a packet of nuts for breakfast, chicken and rice for lunch, a protein shake, 2 hours at the Gym then more Chicken and rice. Repeat daily

    He's never had a drop of alcohol and hasn't eaten any 'junk food' or drank tea or coffee for 9 years

    Can't understand what he's getting out of that- it's completely unhealthy and will cut years off his life missing vital nutrients from fruit veg etc, he'll get a good body but never put it to good use on nights out and things..

    Give me 40 years of beer, bad food, bad body and great times over 90 years of careful living any day.

    I had that once in an Italian restaurant in Jersey. The missus didn't look happy when I ordered Spag Bol with extra chips......don't think the waiter had had that requested before either. Obviously not met many from Barnsley then ;)

    I should probably point out that I ended up having to have an ECG four days later. But I'm sure that was just a coincidence.

    Afew years ago when I was on hedgehog pie week (week before payday) I improvised with Micro Chips covered in tomato soup.

    Safe to say I always made sure I had money left to buy proper meals after that

    And I seriously could do it everyday. In fact I actually dream of trying nowt but indian for a week.

    Unfortunately due to my digestive issues it would probably end up putting me 6 foot under.

    So I'll stick to my usual Friday nights only
