..............is fooking mention it to the media, especially if that local rival is one of the following; Weeeds, Wendy or Blunts.

BBC Radio Sheffield United are going to love this

Hillflicker needs to be made aware that they are operating in Yorkshire now

According to what he said on Radio Sheffield tonight he didn't really miss out. What he said was he was thinking of going for him at the end of the season when his contract was up.

Rob seemed to be making a big deal of it by implying we'd missed out on our number 1 target and he'd chosen them over us.

    i agree with u Maz..

Staton was quick as **** to tweet it, and just as quick to mention it on the show..

it was typical radio league 1. lets big up our own and belittle Barnsley..

a reds fan came on at the end saying what we are saying now. that at no point did Hill say he'd bid for him. but Staton ignored him saying he was sure that we were in for him. but Hilly should have said nowt anyway IMO..

Yep heard that mate and I thought Rob was very quick to dismiss what the Barnsley fan said. What Hill said and what Rob was reporting were quite different.

I wasn't impressed with Hills post match interview after the Morecombe game, saying its no embarrassment to lose to to Morecombe then dismissing a question about fans frustration by joking about our lack of success in recent seasons so we should be used to frustration. He started off well by taking the blame saying he made bad decisions but ended up coming across as if he didn't really give a toss about the game or the 4,000 fans who came to see it.
