Though I might think of buying the club with some of it.

I wouldn't provide a transfer kitty, but would be willing to fork out some cash on bringing in players that would strengthen the team.

I'd be investing big style in our scouting and youth development schemes so that we could attract more of the local talent, and offer Andy the chance to expand his coaching staff. Building for improvement and longevity, not throwing silly money at bringing in mercenaries on unethical wages.

I'd also halve the ticket price and make it a couple of quid for kids, students and OAPs. Advertise it massively and offer season ticket holders money back on this year and next if they can get new people through the gates. Better to have a big crowd than a quiet one.

I would want to take control of the club however would need to appoint a good business head as chairman to oversee things.

Plough 10 million into the club however 5 million of this would go straight into some high interest trust where the club receives regular payments generated by the interest. My remaining 5 million would go on strengthening the team, personally I wouldn't feel qualified to make demands on the manager to buy a particular player however the money would not be thrown away easily. Justification required.
Revamp of the clubs commercial activity would be the main focus with the main theme being the matchday experience and what is being offered.

First of all id buy the club.

Then id put in planning permission for a new West Stand.

Id make sure under 10's get in for a £1 every game and once in a while have bring a mate for a fiver.

Id give Ritchie however much it costs to sign Dean Lewington, Jon Ostemoboor, Chris Morgan and Billy Sharp. Id also make sure Neil Redfearn is employed as a coach.
