"This is the worst company in the world"

Take a deep breath and be thankful you've never had to deal with Vodafone Deutschland. You lucky b*stards.

The lack of German efficiency is actually built into the npower business processes these day

Not sure what the Germans are trying to do with it but something is fundamentally wrong

German efficiency is lost on both Vodafone Deutschland and Deutsche Bahn(the train company). Both are Germany's dirty secret!

I waited FOUR months for Vodafone Deutschland to set up my internet. When it finally arrived I gave it back to them and all parties agreed to cancel the contract. They decided not to cancel the outstanding payments though, and TEN months later I received a letter from a lawyer asking for the money after being told everything had been sorted. Unbelievable.

They don't like anyone in the UK

Most jobs have been outsourced. And all of the experience how the UK industry has left them

Worst I've come across was a kitchen fitting company from Leeds.

We ordered a kitchen many years ago from B&Q . ..we had their own (as we thought ) fitters.
At the end of the job, it was obvious one of the panels had been fitted the wrong way round, my missus noticed it and asked their fitter to replace it, he said he needed a signature to draw a new part from B&Q. ..she signed the paper and the fitter left...never to be seen again. We complained to B&Q...they said nowt to do with us....the contract is between you and the fitting company....we complained to the fitters, and the note my wife had signed to draw the new part had been filled in as a letter of satisfaction at the quality of the work...we refused to pay the balance, the fitters threatened us with court, I took the letters to B&Q with more than a hint of the papers hearing about it...and B&Q paid for everything to be sorted...we were on safe ground as we'd had both an independent party and the management of B&Q to inspect it...it was a total bodge far worse than an odd panel wrong....I still see the vans of the Leeds fitters running about now, I just hope they go about their business in a better way now.
