Is the council tax the same as living in a separate house?

Obviously houses have bands - would it depend on what the value of each individual flat is?

In this case I'm on about renting.

    Cheers.

    RE: Yep ,

Am living in a shared house with some students and am fed up with it. The house is crap, things are always broken, my room's small and to top it all off the cellar's flooded and contains most of my belongings due to my room being tiny :(( (furious)

Lord knows what a city centre apartment in Leeds'll cost to rent each week though for one person (doh) (seestars)

Yeah you're probably right Daz... lord knows where in Leeds is best to rent a one-person place though.

Quite frankly I'm sick of sharing a house with numpties so until me and ar lass are ready for the old co-habiting lark I shall be on my own! And happy to be so.
