and just asked them to play a simple 4-4-2, with energy and the bravery to attack, could we have been any worse the last dozen or so games?

Are the only 2 players who can score injured or way out of form or are they all fit and at the top of their game?

Re: one of thems either half arsed or poorly led

So I have a 20 year old with 1 goal to his name and a not good enough replacement for my leading scorer up front. At the back I either play 4 centre halves or rely on an out of position 19 year old and an 18 year old to be full backs. In the middle I have 2 defensive midfielders because I can't trust my defence this means shuffling my leading scorer out to the wing while on the other wing I have a player who can manage 50 minutes or a pie eater. It's not looking good.

I think we would've been a lot worse yes.

Because it would've meant playing either Hemmings or Lita up front every game and an unmotivated & over weight Jennings on the wing.

I don't believe Wilson deserved the sack but if one person should feel guilty about getting Wilson the sack it's Jennings. He's got the ability to rip this league to bits but has continued to let his manager, his teammates, his self & the fans down
