at oakwell to experience the game for yourself,to see Blackpool playing Basket ball in there own penalty area(twice)and ref thinking we have got to introduce an Olympic flavour to the game.
John stones ,scot goldborne,Tomas,Craig Davies,Ben alnwick Chris dagnall,Jacob mellis play some really good football.
Craig Davies goal was a peach of one,seen it again on football league show (all 50seconds of play shown ,maybe 10 seconds (goal) of us and 40 seconds of Blackpool attacking)
Blackpool had there moments and were not there to make up the numbers making it an exiting game for the neutral,defensive slip lets ince in one on one with goal keeper Ben,but then again he pulled some fantastic top class saves off to keep us in the game.
Blackpool are a really good team but so were we.
we Got caught offside more than a few times ,sometimes thought it wasn't(linesman trigger happy).
we get very little press coverage to say what really went on or how good we were when we are,to truly experience the hill croft Barnsley team you have got to be there.
Sometimes when a team doesn't get talked about in the media much they are generally expected to be poor,coinciding with poor attendances.
But yesterday may have awakened the fans that haven't been for a while to realise when we have a team together not stripped to the bones same as after last Xmas we may shock a few Teams this season.
hears hoping it will be a catalyst for more fans coming to experience Barnsley in there 125th year.

Football league program should two of our shots , rest blackpool. Made for an unbalanced few of the game

 

Football league show was yet again an embarrassment! Unbalanced, poor reporting! Why didn't they show the build up to our goal instead of just the final pass?

 

The football league programme is a disgrace,,

and some of the reports I've read. Not a mention of the 2 penalty appeals. Tv shows our goal plus 1 near miss when Dagnall hit the post, then it was all Blackpool. The People talk of a battle between Alnwick and Ince. I just can't believe these people don't have an agenda when they report in this way.

 

Goals on Sunday coverage no better, only was it could have been worse would be if don goodman was doing the commentating
