    Why criticise the club when he gets head hunted by other clubs with a bigger bank account than us. Isn’t it the same as what we did to get Duff in the first place?
    The club needs applauding rather than some of the negative comments, it shows they made a good appointment. Hopefully the next will be just as ambitious and take us another step forward.

    I’d like to think the vast majority of sane-thinking fans aren’t blaming the Club on this one.

    Fully agree with this.

    And we added a clause, to ensure we got correct compensation too, rather than no clause and end up with a tribunal.

    Duff is all about aligning his path so at some point he can get the Burnley job - so he has to be proven at Champ level to even stand a chance. Whether it’s after Kompany, or 1 after that, only time will tell.

    No the clubs fault. Not Duffs fault. Situations evolve and new offers come in. He was a great choice and did well. No need for any bitterness or blame.

    Why would he only align him path to Burnley? Its not as though he'd say no to a bigger club

    I don’t think it’s lies Its just the reality of modern football, we could have lost the first ten games and suddenly we want a change. Duff has to keep his momentum going forward like any ambitious Manager.

    Definitely didn't move for the money though :D
    He gave us a great season and probably made us a bit of money but time to look forward and forget about him now.
