Might partly depend if Reading were going to use me as a sweeper as well.

    To be honest mate...

JCR needs as much as a bollocking as the rest. Fair enough, he was playing out of position for the most part today, but even when he is playing in position, he creates very little for the amount of running around/dribbling that he actually does.

Give them all a good rollocking.

He was totally wasted 1st half. Shambolic play but also shambolic tactics from Davey, why not play Anderson deep, he did it well playing with Howard last season, ***** from Davey that.

It's no good having him running round in circles in his own half though. He needs to be picking the ball up in their half and running at defenders, like Deveney tried to do but can't.

Only problem is his tunnel vision. Still think he'll make a great player for his next club.

Yes, but even when he does that. He still doesn't create enough as he should. nt

Trouble is, here he has to do everything and is double marked cos teams know he's our only threat, in a decent side he'll get more space and won't have to carry the team.

He'd create a lot more with Kevin Doyle waiting in the middle, thats for sure.

Why? He tried his heart out tonight, he can't be expected to carry the team every game.

Playing beside the Reading midfield, I'D create a lot more too.

We need some creativity in the middle of the park, and fast. Howard has yet to be replaced, and until he does, I fear we will continue to be inconsistent.

    let him go....

cos i am fed up of watching the JCR show. either stick him out on the wing where he belongs or get rid. not even ronaldo the worlds best player tries to play in every position on the pitch. he may aswell have stuck the ball up his f**king shirt tonight,

he won't be able to do that at reading

    RE: let him go....

What rubbish! He's our only player worth paying to see and even if he does try to do too much it's only because our other midfielders are ***** and he has to take the lead. I don't see many offers coming in for the rest of the squad.

i would have payed not to see him tonight. i am not saying he isn't any good, just that if were not going to play him on the wing whats the point having him. for all his effort tonight he did **** all. the midfield can't do owt cos he's always in the way. they can't pass it out to the wings because he's not there hes stood on their toes.

    try taking off your blinkers

That's right, JCR should be out on the wing, Anderson hasn't won me over, he's no Howard or Hignet that's for sure. Mind you I can't see central midfield being a priority when we still haven't got a left back at the club and goals are still at such a premium.

No I agree with you, he should be out on the wing but I would think Davey's telling him where to play.
