It'll take you 10 minutes. If you're on Talk Talk essentials for your broadband (£7.50 per month plus line rental) you can upgrade to the their essentials TV package for nowt and it costs you exactly the same as you're already paying. It will cost you nothing extra and you get a free TV box with all the freeview channels, 7 day catch-up and BBC i-player, 4oD and channel 5's thing, plus a few other TV things. You can, if you want, pay to rent movies through it or add sky channels or owt you want really, but if you stick with the basic package it costs you nowt. Nothing more than you're already paying anyway. You may not be bothered about this box, I wasn't particularly, but if you sign up to this deal by clicking through Top Cashback you'll get paid £94.50 for doing it. Top Cashback is a cashback site. A well respected one. It's like Quidco if you've heard of that. You go on their web page and click through to merchants (other websites that sell stuff) and get back a percentage of what you've bought at those sites. The idea of this is it'll make you buy stuff you didn't know you wanted just so you can get the cashback. I'm sure it works, but if you've got any brains you just use it to buy stuff you do want, like normal, but when you do buy it you click through a cashback site. You'll have to sign up for an account but you'll not get spammed or owt, it's legit. http://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/www.topcashback.co.uk You'll not get the £94.50 instantly but you will get it. I've just had £20 put in my bank account for stuff I bought in September. Here's the deal: http://www.topcashback.co.uk/talk-talk/ You want the 'existing customer upgrading to essentials TV'. There's loads of deals there if you're not a Talk Talk customer, you can do that if you want, but I'm not trying to sell Talk Talk to anyone. Stick with your own provider, or change if you're unhappy with it, but I'm not recommending you move to Talk Talk. I think it's alright, but many people think it's a pain in the arse. This is just a no brainer for existing customers.
Talk Talk, credit cards, PPI, heroin. Your a leech on society jay, always pushing products. You should be ashamed.
You should be hung, drawn and quartered. Your head stuck on one of the more prominent shards of glass on the oakwell wall as a warning to similar scumbags. Treasontastic.
Should be more of these types of posts, offering info on money saving deals for fellow reds, maybe not as exciting as reading posters bitching with each other, but still worthy of the `we are all in it together' financial struggle and more proactive than the Brown/Banks blame game posts we regularly see.
£94.50 was paid in to my bank account today, so it took three months, but I wasn't exactly sitting around, drumming my fingers, waiting for it. Time passed as it would have anyway and now I'm £94.50 richer. The box is OK. Talk Talk keep giving us one month free trials of the stuff you'd usually have to pay for, Sky and all that, which we take for the month then cancel before we have to pay for it. The catch-up TV is better than I had on the blu-ray player, which only had BBC i-player, but this has got them all, 4oD, ITV player, Demand 5 and a few others. I'm paying the same rate I was before, I've got a TV box that's better than I had before and they've paid me £94.50 for the privilege.
