cheers for that, used GNER a lot of the last couple of years - fantastic. First time I went to Kings Cross on one from wakey it seemed to get there so fast i couldn't believe we were there so soon, took 8 cans on the train with me and only managed to get through 3!
Great but GNER dont serve Farnham I will be stuck paying £15 on SWT for what used to be a 45 min journey (now over an hour due to sandbagging the timetable) into London + whatever the tube costs
I thought some GNER trains ran to Glasgow? Or do they all go Edinburgh and some up to Aberdeen these days?
From Kings Cross... take the tube to either Cannon Street, London Bridge or Charing Cross - then a train to Charlton Station. 5 minute walk to the Valley from there. You can also get on the Jubilee Line Tube to North Greenwich - but it's a decent walk or short bus ride from the station at the other end. Cannon Street is the nearest station to Kings Cross.
London Bridge is prob easiest due to it being on a direct tube from Kings X via Northern Line, whereas Cannon St isn't.
Ermm - Circle Line? Though you're probably right - London Bridge is probably the best bet, especially as the Charing Cross trains go through there!
Not from Glasgay, I can't!! Get a train like the rest of us! Nip across to Edinburgh Waverley and you can do Kings Cross in 4-and-a-bit hours?
What Is The Charlton Area.......... like for a night out? My best mates step grandad is a diehard Charlton fan and season ticket holder, so if the night life is good, it might be worth going down and crashing there for a night or two.
