wolves already have the title in the bag by the time they come to oakwell, do you think McArthy will field a weaker side to help us out?
He was asked that at the Lamproom He said if Wolves hadn't got promotion would we field a weakened side for him?
Its possible that most of our opponents (after Sheff U) will be playing for nothing by the time we play them. It could work in our advantage.
To his question, i think if we were safe and the 3 points against us would allow them to win promotion then we probably would it would be great to see him win it at oakwell
No it wouldn't. Couldnt give two big rosey pink fecks up the arse about him. And anyone who wants a team to win at Oakwell except Barnsley has issues.
not true a team with nothing to play for can be a dangerous animal. allows them to play with more freedom which usually results in better performances
You want to see the gold and black hordes whooping up and down in the North Stand?? Bizarre! I want to see away fans slinking away with ten minutes to spare before the end of every match. I want to see them sitting quietly, miserable as hell throughout the game. We do it often enough so nice to see other fans have to suffer as well. Tired of seeing, over the years, teams coming to Oakwell near the end of a season and treating it like an end of term party. Like I said I want them going home grumpy, not happy
There's nothing I like better Than walking past the corner of the East Stand and North Stand on my way home and listening to the away fans giving it yahoo after they've beaten us. Makes my day.
RE: not true Thats why I said 'could'. You said 'can'. 2 sides of an opinion. You say 'usually', how have you come to that?
IF you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you, If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; If you can wait and not be tired by waiting, Or being lied about, don't deal in lies, Or being hated, don't give way to hating, And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise: If you can dream - and not make dreams your master; If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim; If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools, Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken, And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools: If you can make one heap of all your winnings And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss, And lose, and start again at your beginnings And never breathe a word about your loss; If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew To serve your turn long after they are gone, And so hold on when there is nothing in you Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, ' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch, if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you, If all men count with you, but none too much; If you can fill the unforgiving minute With sixty seconds' worth of distance run, Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it, And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
