You stop paying the £10 per month Sky+ subscription does your box still work as a standard Sky box? On a year's freebie at the moment and can't afford the £53 per month it would be at the moment. Will be downgrading to 2 mixes and Sport in June.
Not sure, you have 2 lines in from the dish to your box to make it work on sky+, not sure if they just turn one off or make you replace the box. The box should still work as a receiver. My bet is they will offer you longer on free if you keeo the same package you have now.
If you have either sports or movies you don't pay the additional £10 for Sky+ anyway. To answer your question though - You would just lose the Sky+ functionality, it would operate as a standard box.
At the moment I get a statement showing £NIL to pay but listing a credit of £43.50 for Sky World and £10 for Sky+. Maybe when I am paying I will still get the £10 credit for Sky+ if I keep either Sports or Movies (or has it got to be both?).
