I'm a bit better...........but I'm still worried about this season

If the current sqaud stays as it is for the start of the season we will be relegated thats for sure
We need more players !!!
Togwell and MacIndoe look good signings.....but we are still way short of talent
If you look at the squad you can pick an 11 that may have a chance, but what happens if we have any injuries?
There's only 3 weeks to start of the season
Looking at potential players that are coming back from broken legs or playing their football at Carlise dosen't fill me with much confidence either (titanic)

Pat Cryne could spend a few bob just to keep us safe in the Championship
In fact I'll be very surprised if he dosen't
Although in saying that he could wait to see how the current team plays and dip into his pocket at the next transfer window - which probably makes more sense

 

last season we dint bring many in and thowt wed do nowt, but the season before hart brought in a full new squad which would you prefer now

I can't see Shep wanting to take more loans on.

I've said before that this flies in the face of what PC brought him in to do

 

We don't need that many more players, just a few in key positions. Think we will suprise people next season.

 

Example...........

Reid and Kay at the back (even though I think Kay is a midfielder)
One of um gets injured, worse still both get injured...........who goes into that position
Dunt say Hassel or Austin.......look at the height of centre forwards in the Championship
Second example......Nardiello and Richards........need I say more

list in descending order the height of championship centre forwards(number 9's) correct to the nearest inch in stockinged feet.</p>

I assume you can do this and aren't just making a wild assertion that they are all giants</p>

to assume , and you do assume rather too much that we will struggle because all the center forwards in the championship are taller than our second choice central defender amuses me !

Pat Cryne owes us nothing. Anyway, we're slowly getting back to a position where we can self-finance - surely that's better than relying on hand-outs?

I don't see why it should "amuse" you. It really should concern you just as it does Nudger, because it's an area in which we may struggle. However, the reverse is also true, because of the ones that aren't taller than our defenders and even some that are, a good number will be much quicker than any of our likely first choice defenders. To be concerned about the shortcomings of our players isn't negative, it's realistic and hopefully our management team will be equally realistic.

b. to say that our second choice defenders are too small is again amazingly simple
