    Where will smokers be able to smoke? </p>

    As they seem to have covered everywhere where you cannot smoke... which is good like. </p>

    When the ban comes in obviously. </p>

    SMOKING BAN IS RIDICULOUS!

    Nanny state strikes again!! We are heading towards a big brother state that Orwell could not have imagined!! By 2084 what kind of world will we live in!! Someone is probably monitoring what I am saying right now. Well they have the potential to for sure. I am putting it in the public domain. lol

    personally i'd have thought breathing in various exhuast fumes would be on a par to the damage caused by smoking. only less addictive

    in short, anywhere not classed as enclosed or in other words....

    if it aint got a roof, its not classed as enclosed, therefore not breaking the legal law...

    there are 2 types of enclosed, can't remember terminology but similar to

    completely enclosed and substantially enclosed (ie more than half of the wall space is used too)

    therefore, smoking outside the ponty end on the corner, is not legally breaking the law

    so ner ner

    Can't believe they have done it. If I want to buy a building to meet up with large groups of friends and drink and smoke in, I can't!! How is that fair? Its like a dictatorship!

    Exactly. A better law would have been for public houses, if there is no seperate ventilated room, then no smoking at all. Ban smoking in all other public places. Could have made an exemption for private clubs. But no they dont care about freedoms and liberties.

    Do you know, I've been thinking about that one. As you know I'm an ex smoker, but even when I was smoking I fully understood how some people found it offensive. I can also understand how in their line of work, someone would refuse to enter a building that is occupied by a smoker.</p>

    </p>

    I can see the law suits now ' Your honour, I got my bad lungs because my gaffer kept making me go to Mrs chainsmoking Smith's house with her meals on wheels'</p>

    :eek: </p>

    thats what we have at the moment mate! For the next week or so. I thinkits fair to say some regulation was needed. But this absolute ban is too far and is disregarding 20% of the population who smoke!
