Purely on the basis of Lance Armstrong's indiscretions. The sport has a bad image and that will take some time to change but there are very few riders in the peloton now who have a history of doping so I'm confident we're in a new era. If Contador, Kreuziger and Mollema all fail drugs tests I might start thinking differently but as it stands I am convinced Chris is honest and clean. Like Bradley and Cadel Evans before him. What I want to know is why the press aren't having a field day with Usain Bolt?
I'm afraid you're gonna be sick for a while then. These questions are inevitable, and the onus is on cycling now, to restore confidence and prove that it's clean....sorry, cycling have caused the damage. They need to fix it P.S I'm a cyclist
It may be frustrating and repetitive but its completely understandable in my humble opinion. I have no interest in cycling and I have very little knowledge but I am aware of its reputation so when I hear updates on the Tour I instantly wonder if doping is playing its part. I am sure many more think along the same lines.
I would but I think it's interesting that they are not. In my opinon I would say that there is a very good chance Bolt has doped, definitely more than Froome yet he is not being questioned.
If Froome never fails a drugs test, and I'm confident that he won't, people will question him even when he's retired. They're also questioning the integrity of Dave Brailsford which is a disgace.
