However ,I think that we'll do well to avoid going straight back down irrespective of who we sign or don't sign . It's disappointing that we haven't signed more players at this time , but I'd rather we show a bit of patience and sign the individuals who Andy Ritchie wants rather than bringing in someone simply for the sake of it . People who are pessimistic about the coming season ( although they prefer to call themselves realists ) are NOT showing greater passion for the club than the likes of myself . They are simply giving differing opinions , nothing more , nothing less . For those who question why I show loyalty to Mr Shepherd , I put forward this query . Are we in a more stable financial state now , than when our chairman took over in December 2004 and the club was within hours of going back into administration ( according to Mr Shepherd ) ? For those who question why I show loyalty to Andy Ritchie , I put forward this query . Are we in a better state on the pitch than when AR took over from Paul Hart in March 2005 ? It is certainly true that Hart brought a good number of the players that were to win promotion to the club . I would argue that Andy Ritchie moulded these players ( and the ones he himself signed ) into a succesful TEAM . As a footnote to this debate , there is a regular poster to this board who is going through a personal hell with his family . I , and my family , wish the poster all the luck in the world . I wonder if he truly gives a **** about the so-called lack of signings this summer (?) Football is only a game , it is NOT life and death . Perhaps some people ought to keep things in their true perspective . Rant over .
You spelt successful like this; succesful, therefore you are a deluded optimist who knows nothing about football. Now, what about signing some strikers Shep and Ritchie? Get your hand in your pocket Cryne.
