Keith Hill says that we are on course to make a PROFIT this season so why have season ticket prices gone up?
Because costs have gone up? The argument shouldn't by why they have gone up, but why there wasn't in incentive in place to drive more volume of tickets through whatever scheme they could think of.
Inflation about 5 person in last 12 month. every other club will have gone up at the end of the season too.
Attendances have gone down though so surely so will the policing costs. Energy bills are surely going to go down when the club finally installs the solar panels and ikea office furniture is still the same price as last season
At what cost are the solar panels? Wouldn't surprise me if there's a cost element built in to the catering contract (so when cost of goods goes up, so does the rental/percentage take or whatever). We're also losing a lot of TV revenue next season don't forget, so a big gaping hole in the budget for next season from that. Plus, beer in Preedys will be more expensive after the chancellor's budget on the 21st .....
Well we are 750k short on TV money next season and we will still have one of the smallest budgets in the Championship. Maybe less season ticket holders judging by the general trend?
