I've just spent 5 minutes staring at the Championship table. I haven't given it more than a cursory glance for years. And then I found myself thinking, "we could get in play-offs here." Brain's gone.
I was doing the same yesterday Jay. In the past when we've been this close I've always thought it's only a matter of time before we drop off the pace but this time I'm thinking just maybe....
Well that would also account for my brain too. I've done exactly the same thing. All we need is the usual post christmas collapse to bring me back down to earth... you never know though eh Jay ? ;-)
Yes you are We aren't anywhere near consistent enough to get near the top six - that said, there's only 8 points between 6th and 3rd bottom so anything could happen - reckon next season could be interesting tho.. BBS of extremes innit - from Keith Hill must die to sign him up for life in 3 months.
I know, I'm proper loopy But it's just nice to be in a position where you can fantasise rather than knowing for certain that you're sh.it.

at the start of the season i backed us to win the league with hills,I got 36 points start at 18/1 starting to think it was one of my better decisions now. Cmon u redsssssss.
Would love to see us finish top half for a change and try and get away from this relegation-fighting mentality that we've had for the past few seasons. Give Hill the off-season to assess and strengthen the squad now he's had a full season in the Championship, and give it a real good go next season!
